Introduction

A place which is friendly, clean, colourful, safe, dynamic and diverse.  A place where local people are involved in local issues and know they will be listened to. A place where children and young people feel confident, safe and supported. A place which is flourishing.

Improving an area is not just about the physical space. It's also about the people who live there. Supporting the local community is an essential element of the work of South Bank Employers' Group.

We work with a wide range of partners to ensure residents can have their say about local issues; to involve them directly in regenerating their area by funding community initiated and managed projects; to develop people's aspirations, confidence and health through sport and the arts; and to boost the prospects of the next generation by improving educational facilities and youth leisure opportunities.
